Many herpes people have had a lot of questions about statistics, risk factors and transmission that STD experts have not been able to answer. My key take aways? #1 - In unmarried adults ages 45-50, 50% to 70% of women have it. That number is unbelievable! (So I'm defiantly not alone!) #2 - Condoms only reduce the risk of transmission by 25% to 50%. (If you use them consistently!) #3 - And since most people don't know that they have herpes, asking a partner if he/she has it doesn't do diddlly for you!
